Supply and install “monotec” wire mesh baskets with reinforcement.

Supply and install reinforced wire mesh baskets with fill of frost and weather resistant stone material. The containers consist of electric spot-welded steel wire screen mats, held all round with welded eyes.
The tensile strength of the eyes corresponds to that of the wire tensile strength.
The basket manufacturers are certified in accordance with ISO 9001. The individual parts are fitted together in-situ in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, using push fasteners, to form containers, filled to leave as few cavities as possible and then closed. The suitability of the reinforcment mesh and the frictional connection to the baskets is to be verified by a materials testing office.
All verifications are to be carried out before award of contract.
Earthworks are accounted separately.

1.1 All parts with at least 350g/m² special galvanisation (galfan) with a corrosion resistance of at least 1000 hrs. salt spray test in accordance with DIN 50021.

1.2 All parts of stainless steel, material no. 1.4571, wire tensile strength at least 650 N/m².

7.3 Fill material = round grain > mesh size
7.4 Fill material = in accordance with DIN 18.918
7.4 Alternatively: fill material selected by contractor.
