For years, VELURA velvet hangers have rendered such excellent service in the storing and selling of velvets, chiffon-velvets and imitation fur fabrics that they are regarded as a must in the trade, both in Europe and overseas. With an appliance of this type the materials are stored hanging, the individual layers barely touch each other, so that careful and gentle treatment of the pile side of the fabrics is ensured. VELURA hangers are hung up like clothes or suit hangers, in cabinets or on racks.

VELURA model ll VELURA model II, nickel plated steel, 42 cm (approx. 16.5 inches) long, with 2 double clamps, each 8.5 cm (approx. 3.3 inches) wide, for halves of 15 m to 20 m (15.5 yards - 22 yards) long. The material is pierced by the clips along the selvedge. From clip to clip, row after row of fabric is suspended from the hanger with the pile inside.
VELURA model ll B VELURA model II B, nickel plated steel, 42 cm (approx. 16.5 inches) long, 2 double clamps, each 12 cm (approx. 4.7 inches) wide. This hanger can accomodates full lengths of normal velvet yard goods, up to 35 m (38.25 yards) long.
VELURA model ll C VELURA model II C, nickel plated steel, 65 cm (approx. 25.6 inches) long, 3 double clamps, each 12 cm (approx. 4.7 inches) wide. This especially large hanger is preferred for teddy fabrics and imitiation fur fabrics.
